Christoph Niessen is a postdoctoral research fellow of the Flemish Research Foundation (FWO) at the University of Antwerp. His work deals with the demands and conferral of sub-state autonomy in multi-national and multi-level states, as well as with citizen and elite attitudes towards new forms of citizen participation.
